Learning Unlocked is a Belfast-based tutoring company that offers tutors in a variety of subjects to help children with their education.
The directors of Learning Unlocked needed a website that would help them attract local clients for their tutoring business and one that would allow their brand to grow.
The Website Brief
A professional, clean easy to use website that matched their brand and allowed potential clients to see the range of tutors available, the subjects that tutors could be booked for as well as the ability to book a free consultation.
Target Audience
Primary Audience: Parents and careers of children from primary 6 through to A level, who need help with either one or several subjects in a bid to perform better in school and eventually to get the exam results they are hoping for.
Secondary Audience: Anyone looking for executive coaching or for people who have returned to education to take A levels and need a little extra support.
Design Requirements
They needed a website that showcased the range of services available, the experience of their tutors and the ability to book either a consultation call or a tutor session.
UX: The website needed easy to use navigation, with a clear client pathway throughout the website, allowing the website visitors to follow the most natural pathway for their needs. The site also needed to be responsive so that it could be used on either a desktop or mobile.
Brand Design: The design of the website needed to match their existing branding while also feeling professional, welcoming and memorable.
What We Did
For this design we first of all mapped out all the relevant tutor pages for the site as well as the team pages and blog.
We chose to build the website on WordPress as content was going to be at the heart of the clients marketing campaign and this platform would allow them to easily add content to the site either in blog or pages format.
As well as designing the pages for launch, We created the relevant template pages to make it easier for the clients to add content themselves in the future.
We added the ability to book a consultation call and the website is packed with useful information about the various tutoring options available.
